We are excited to welcome our guests to the 2024 season of the Utah Shakespeare Festival. We are constantly monitoring health and safety guidelines and will attempt to provide you with the most recent and accurate information. Since safety guidelines are rapidly changing, please check this page for future updates.
The information below reflects the latest guidelines from Actors’ Equity Association, the Utah Department of Health, and the Southwest Utah Public Health Department.
Do I need to wear a mask at the Festival?
Masks are not required, but are welcome.
What about social distancing?
We recommend that guests respect the space of those around them and social distance as appropriate.
What about seating?
There is no social distancing requirement for seating, and guests may choose from all available seats.
Will you be taking my temperature when I enter the theatre?
No. But if you have a fever or are sick, please do not attend until you are well again.
If I cancel my visit, can I get a refund on my play tickets?
All tickets are non-refundable, but exceptions can be made for health or medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances. Other options include receiving a credit for the value of unused tickets into your Festival account or donating that value to the Festival.
Will concessions be available?
Yes. Concessions will be for sale during the 2024 season in the lobbies of all three of our theatres and in Ellen’s Sweet Shoppe. Food and drink are allowed inside the Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre. Food is not allowed inside the Randall L. Jones and the Anes Studio Theatres, but drinks with lids are allowed.
Will I still be able to buy souvenirs in the gift shops?
Yes. Our gift shops will be open during the 2024 season.
Will seminars and other events I love still be part of the Festival Experience?
Yes. At this time we are planning on all seminars, orientations, Backstage Tours, and Repertory Magics being available.
What else do I need to know?
We are doing everything we can to ensure everyone’s safety at the Festival while providing the best experience possible.
Some of the steps we’re taking to ensure everyone’s safety and good health include vaccinations for the entire Festival company coupled with recommended testing when feeling ill and numerous safety precautions and measures for all company members during rehearsals and performances.
