Actor Training 2, 2014

(Students 17 years and older)

July 13–21
Early Bard Price: $1,150 (Due by April 1)

Regular Price: $1,250

Because an actor’s training is never finished, this ten-day intensive course is an advanced study of Shakespeare’s works, expanding on techniques learned in Actor Training 1. Under the direction of Ann Tully and Larry Whitesell, students receive college-level training in the art of scene work, text analysis, voice, and stage combat, among others.

Coaching by professional actors enhances the experience, culminating in a student-acted, public performance on one of the Festival’s stages. Tuition includes tickets to five plays (Into the Woods is optional) and chaperoned dormitory accommodations.

Add Three Credits:
CPS (high school/undergraduate) or
EDUC (graduate/educator) for only $45.
